believe me
this could include waving flags
tossing hats in the air
or all of us running down the beach into the surf, shrieking
as once the whole nation would switch on the radio to the six o’clock news
or later watch on tv towers crumble
we would zoom to community then
now we’re infected by podblasts and trip into silos of hell
because it’s somebody else’s fault?
and why should i pay?
or let someone with a simpler answer have all the say?
