someone said
and the spacetime hymen broke

‘plebeian’
is a word I haven’t heard
for a long time

it could rearrange constellations
think of what’s involved in that
astronomically

so if the chance of certain words
entering the ear again is remote
the universe is conspiring against them, right?

I could say them myself
if I wanted to test
the above hypothesis

I’ll think about it
but I note
nothing has changed yet

though I’ve thought the words
written them down
