this poem a variation on the original with intense and complex images accompanying it – to give some idea of the context, the alt descriptions of the images are reproduced after the text content of the poem
the content of the original poem flows from the second poem’s context and commentary and its visual presentation is simple with no image content

schubert 2

stale from the dream land

of bad angel angles

came the unintended experience

so I walked out

past what I thought I’d left behind

to dance in hot rotations

till I was cool enough

to be lost again

and sink to depths of who I never was

where creatures live through me

until I sing this simple song

schubert

watches the snow

listens to schubert

watching schubert

listening to the snow

listening to the schubert

watching snow

listening to

schubert

descriptions of images (top to bottom)

the background image lines the top of the page above the poem’s text content – it emulates a woman’s left hand on her left hip; she is naked apart from some draped cloth

then each image precedes the short line to which it is relevant
